Mothers of “the Turning”
"The turning": 1: A pivotal moment, a point of no return, or a major paradigm shift in a society or the world. 2: A time of crisis and potential collapse, but also a time of opportunity for renewal and the creation of a new order.
I’ve created Mothers of the Turning out of the collective overwhelm of societal collapse, climate crisis, and spiritual disorientation. We are witnessing and experiencing daily reminders that our communities are in crisis. We are feeling it and craving ways to cope. Gathering in intentional creative spaces is one way and I welcome you to join me in this one.
Focus of this group: How do we parent/care-give when our world is unraveling? As Changemaking mama’s, we carry it all — while holding space for children, movements, and communities. We gather every other week to feel what’s real, tap into our well of creativity, and root into what still holds.
What this is: A judgment free gathering space to express difficult feelings through art making, mythical story telling, ancient wisdom, and collective sharing. We’ll acknowledge that grief, rage, fear, and exhaustion are present while making room for awe, love, and connection through Intentional Art Making and sharing.
You do NOT need to identify as an artist or creative to participate in this gathering.
This is not: a space for toxic positivity, gratitude bandaids, or manifestation centered work.

Through creativity, mythology, and community care, we’ll:
- Make space for the grief and grit of mothering through collapse
- Map our way through fear, rage, and disbelief using simple and accessible art materials.
- Build resilience and imagination through mythic storytelling
- Reconnect to our intuitive, land-centered, ancient wisdom
Format & Flow
• Ongoing, virtual, drop-in circle (every other week)
Come when you can, as often as you can, no commitment necessary
